RE: Red bellied Black Snakes

Have you done a google search, that will normally bring up heaps of info including care sheets etc.

Are you getting one Luke. They look cool, almost got one the other day, about 3-4ft but had a rich deep red belly, was really nice. But with a baby on the way I had to think twice. :-(

Very easy snake, dont take a lot of work. Will usually eat most things.
Become quite docile in captivity, even wild caught ones.
Usual snakey husbandry. Like a hide, a bowl of water to soak in occasionally, warm place to curl up and a heat spot to bask under. Dont need a lot of height to the enclosure.
They are venemous so should be treated with rspect but because of their nature its very easy to get lulled into a false sense of security.
Will rarely bite you in anger. Usually through a feeding response or being careless.
Erm! what else?

They are addictive, just a gorgeous looking snake Luke.

Here is WIRES rescue that I did. He was in top health, just in the wrong place at the wrong time. He had some really nice red in him as you can see. He was really placid and it's RBB's like this guy that make me want to get them more and more.

yep i'd take one of those nice snake!! the one at the co**** had more of that orangeish colour to her. Either one is nice but prefer the deep red sorta colour.

that one seems to have been great to handle, the one simon had at the co**** kept trying to roll round in circles to get loose!!
