When I started with herps about two years ago I stated regularly 'I would never keep venomous animals' now I am feeling indecisive. RBBs and death adders look nice and are interesting animals so now I am not so sure.
I think here in vic u only need to keep pythons for 2 years, no doubt some1 will jump down my throught if im wrong
lol, ive only been doing this since dec and i already want a rbb

in vic you can apply straight away without ever holding and form of license, ever.......which i think is silly, but thats our law.

Munkee, the laws have changed in QLD since I got my Specialist Permit (now it's just an add on to the Recreational Wildlife Permit) but what you've said sounds pretty much spot on.

Dynamite photos, and for Pete's Sake what great looking red bellies you have Pete

Yes, and the difference in obtaining vens in Vic is just a simple case of spending more $$$ on an advanced license. Sounds like trouble to me

How expensive is the advanced license in Vic??

The RBB's are gorgeous, it's a shame we can splurge on a girlfriend for Roger....

Shame on you steve - Pete is meant to be your friend.... I have seen that clown in the flesh and can vouch for its red noise.

(May have also seen the dad - Pete has some good looking RBB.)
