reptile anatomy

Can anyone direct to me any web links, or good books on the internal anatomy of reptiles.

I've got no idea on where all the internal bits and pieces are. LOL
Tried googling it but didn't come up with anything satisfactory.

Just for interests sake, not planning any dissections or taxidermy.

Cheers
Uaru

i've got "Australian snakes, a natural history" from Richard Shine; Ed.Reed Books. (about $30)
It gives basic info about snakes internal organs and physiology...
Interesting but not highly scientific...
Yann.

You can buy superb posters through ExoticDVM magazine. Google them.

3 Great books are:

Australian Snakes by Rick Shine - This is a great book that is easy to read. Probably entry level
Reptile Medicine and Surgery by Douglas Mader - This is a vet reference covering reptile biology in detail
Biology and Evolution of Australia Snakes (or Lizards) by Alan Greer - These books covers snake (lizard) biology with a focus on evolutionary biology (funnily enough given that its written by an evolutionary biologist )

It all depends on how far you want to go. Pythons of the World Volume 2 has a great section on snake biology

I love that book, don't get me wrong.. It is full of precious informations about aussie snakes... I was only referring to the snake anatomy section (mostly graphics)
And I apologize if I got you wrong, my English ain't perfect...
The Vet book is excellent too but pricey... you really want to have it.... Or maybe try your public library and borrow it....
Cheers...
Yann.
