Yes I have been waiting to see some comments and pics on it too. I live too far away to have driven down there.. I know there are a lot of people that were going I would have loved to have caught up with.

My opinion was that it was great. Heaps of different reptiles and amphibians to see. Lots of good speakers giving talks in the pits, Neville Burns was his typical funny self. Heaps of very well respected herpers there, including Peter Krauss, Gavin Bedford, Craig Latta and Gerry Swan. John Weigal going nuts with his camera (he must have taken 1000 pictures) Just about every different type of snake, turtle and lizard you wanted to see was there, as well as heaps herp gear, including a bloke selling those vision rack systems from America. First time I have seen those in Aus. I was talking to Anthony Stimson and he was saying that they had 5000 tickets printed up and they were almost all gone yesterday afternoon. Today will be even bigger as its going to be another nice sunny day. The only problem was that because there was so many people there the line up for food and drink was long, which you needed because you can spend ages in there. But well worth going if anybody is thinking about heading there today.
