Just recieved a phone call from Roy regarding a previous post from myself.
Roy informs me that i was incorrect in the assumption of him being guilty of any wrong doing and that my informent has got it all wrong. The reason that the NPWS or whomever the body is that governs reptiles in Vic was on a visit purely as routine and so therefore i do
Formally appologise for anything that may have offended either Roy or anyone else .
Sorry mate
PAUL

I think everytime they change there name they get a pay rise, they sought of look the same but you can see in their eyes a new entity is on the block with more skills and increased powers of somethingness which is better than nothingness so its all good!

I dont see that Roy would be too upset about misinformation being peddled on the net.
Its something that he himself indulges in on the odd occasion.I read on his site the other day this late breaking news.
"Pails for Scales Unique Pets passes on love and wishes to the family of Tim Nias who passed away recently. Tim was a true Snakey and it was a King Brown snake that in the end took his life. Our thoughts go out to his family."
Now unless some groundbreaking discovery has been recently made I had no idea that King Browns could give you Leukaemia.

While it is one thing to start annoying rumours about some one.
It is avery serious implication to falsely accuse some one of smuggling.
Roy runs a very good reptile/petshop with very helpful knowledgable staff as apposed some of the other shops you do come across.
Roy has done a lot for this industry over a lot of years and them sort of accusations can bring a business down.
I have bought in excess of 20-30 reptiles of Roy in the last 10 years and and he has al ways shown to be very responsible and helpful to people who purchase animals from him.
For those who dont dont Roy
and who would like to know more .
If you get a chance do your self a favour and visit his shop Pails for Scales in Ballarat.
Hopefully this matter has been sorted out and Roy and Paul can get back to their own lives.
As for King Brown bites I took a bad king brown bite about 3 years ago and I dont know how true it is but a speciallist at the hospital did say at the time that later on you mayhave to be careful of some forms of cancer because of the quantity and components of the venom.
