I had a laugh at that too.

like everyone else I was thinking it to be a big red belly or maybe a brown.... but no. At least it was a damn fine diamond.

Thanks to Channel 7 "spicing it up" i now have workmates telling me all about this dangerous animal etc. It wasn't until i showed them photos of me and ST holding our diamonds that people then understood the TV had spiced it up.

Yeah i didn't see it either, but if it was the guys snake wouldn't that mean it was on his license meaning he had all legal rights to it?

The owner had split up from his wife and the cow claimed she didnt like snakes and that her husband had refused to take the snake with him. So she surrendered it to RSPCA - she also told RSPCA that the owner had not kept his licence up to date.

So the bloke had to show proof of his licence which looked like it was just a receipt to say that he had paid for the renewal of his licence and the officer returned the snake. The bloke had a fairly decent enclosure and the woman stood there and told him she didnt want to have to come back. It was obivous the animal was placid the owner adored it and the bitchy ex-wife was just doing her best to cause the bloke some grief. The RSPCA officer had to exaggerate it for the tele. It was a very nice animal.

You could tell the rspca woman was secretly hoping the owner wouldnt come and claim the diamond.
