i have used pond tite on stone and clay features for my beardie enclosure. It's clear and non toxic- no fumes when dry. Be careful not to brush it on too thickly or it can dry with a milky look!

Yeah, not sure off the top of my head, but you would have to find a non-toxic one or at least one that has non-toxic vapours, I would think maybe an epoxy resin?
