Setting up enclosure

Hi guys,

Im just fixing a heat light to my enclosure that I bought,

I just wanted to know, I have about 11 inches between the light and the bottom of tank, is this sufficient with a mesh cage around the light, or would this be too hot, im running a 100 watt globe in it
