Hi Guys/Gals

I was just wondering how often a hatchling sheds ?

Im no expert but i assume it would depend on their growth rate which depends on the feeding rate, like i said ... no expert ... only ever bred Diamonds once

as above. hatchlings and juvies will shed more often than larger snakes because they are growing fast. dont be concerned, just know what to look for, ie skin goes dark and eyes go milky blue, it may refuse food. after a week the eyes clear again and it will shed within about a week after that. provide something for it to rub on and ensure siutable humidity, and you shouldnt have a problem.
they know what do, its instinctive!

p.s splitty, it should have atleast once before you got it, ask the seller.

If a hatchling is kept at say 30c and is fed well, they can shed every 8 to 10 weeks easily.
