Shedding

Just curious as to different people's views on snake shedding. Who finds it best to let nature take it's course? Who always assists? and Who only lends a hand if the situation warrants it? If the latter, how often have you had to assist?

i take Loki out of his tank cos theres sand in there and i'm worried with how hard he rubs he might scratch his eyes or something,...still reconsidereing the sand,....

i lend a hand by sitting on the rug and letting him wedge himself between my butt and the rug, and when he comes around the front i form a circle with my fingers and thumb and he likes to squeeze thru that too....i generally put rubber soled shoes on too cos he seems to like the texture,...

its not like he needs help, it always comes off perfectly in one piece, but i enjoy watching him and he seems to like the 'help'
