my coastal hasnt shed for a while and i was told to feed the hatchie by my breeder but the night i fed him he began shedding now the skin is stuck half way down him because of the lump caused by the food what do i do?
do i assist in helping him shed or leave him to do his own thing?
i soaked him in a bucket of warm water and that seemed to help but still the skin is stuck nr the lump

I'm more of a lizard person but seems as no one else has offered their opinion (quite rare on this site  ) I'll give you my thoughts: I think you should just wait a week for it to digest its meal then give it a warm bath and massage the skin over the lump (which should be smaller), so just keep it warm and maybe up the humidity and it might even remove the skin on its own, as the food is digested.

soak and help it off, just be gentle and roll it off, follow the way the scales run though, i.e towards that tail, do not go the other direction as you are then going against the direction of the scales.
will come off pretty easy. Make sure the water is warm when you soak.
