If a little snake sheds, but leaves the last cm on his tail, what can you do? Or isn't it a problem?

I've read that you get a towel and wet it with luke warm water and hold the snake gently with it and as the snake is moving around on the wet towel, The last bit of shed generally comes off.
EDIT: With a hatchling - use a tea towel, it'd be easier to control where the snake is going .
Hopefully someone with abit more experience will be able to provide you with information.

How little is he? If he will let you, you could put him into a warm water bath, let him soak, and then help him with the last of the old skin. You can do that by gently rubbing the old skin after he's soaked, or allow him to move over your hand so that the skin comes off. I've heard of some people even putting a problem-shedder into a damp bag and letting the snake do it itself.

Yeah I've tried raising the humidity etc... It's really just the last tiny bit, I think he doesn't notice, and he thinks he's 'done' hahahaha!

It can become a problem, the best thing to do is to soak the affected area in lukewarm water and attempt to peel the retained skin away, (it can cause future sloughs to retain in that area and eventually cut off circulation to the tail tip)

Cool so it doesn't matter if we try and peel it off? I just don't want to damage him |

Dampen and roll it off would be a better term. ;-)
