Shedding Records

Howdy,

What's the actual purpose of keeping shedding records? Is it for age identification or other means? I only ask as when I get my python next week I wasn't sure if it was necessary or not to keep sloughing records, but a lot of the snakes i'm seeing for sale are coming with them.

Any info would be great.

I keep a shedding record so I can easily check when my snake's last shed was, and estimate when she is due for her next shed (I'm not likely to remember that stuff if I don't write it down ).

its a good idea.. to see if ur really over feeding ur snake as well.. depending on how often ur snake is shedding.. u can tell if it is over fed.. like every 2 weeks is too soon really for ur snake to be shedding.. which wood mean that it is over fed.. JMO
