I was out at Cobar in western NSW during easter, I found this little guy on a dirt track just outside of town, shame the camera died after 1 pic!

Looks similar to mine. Except mine is a little feral and chases you around the enclosure......

shinglebacks often carry heavy tick infestations more then any other aussie herp i think alot of the ones iv caught around perth suburbs have been absolutely infested.................. then theres that disease thing they get that causes real bad conjunctivitis that closes theyre eyes over in a scabby white substance

on that note all the ones iv found bush have been reletively healthy and less parasitic burden

Blueys and shinglebacks always have ticks. I've only seen probably two wild blueys without ticks before. They were only young'ns aswell.
