how are shinglebacks to handle are they fairly placid?

extremely placid, even ones ive encountered in the wild havent even looked like biting, the only times ive ever been bitten is when i was hand feeding them insects, because they are soo slow they cant catch them themselves, they get a little excited when your hand goes near them and sometimes act before they think, and chomp down on a finger or two. but other then feeding, they are extremly placid, i've had them at schools etc and they have been bombarded with hands and havent had a problem with them. very hardy. | |
