Did you build that setup yourself, or buy it?
had the glass tank custom made and constructed the wooden top myself. Sold it a while ago.

had enough room for a colony of spinipes LOL

Six months? I haven't heard that before.

My understanding is that 18 months is the norm for spinipes and 36 months for boydii.

I've also been instructed that boydii do not need to be fed like many other dragons, but rather every second day, which would explain the slow growth and length of time before maturity. Based on that information, I assumed--correctly or otherwise--that there would be good reason for only feeding them every second day. Perhaps they'll take no more, or perhaps there's health risks associated, I don't know. If anyone can elaborate on this, I'd appreciate it :-)

they will only take as much food as they want and that is usually not very much. my female will eat about 30-35 a week whilst my male will eat around 10-20 a week. the male is about 22cms long and the female is 19cms. i feed them every day and I am going to feed them every second day whenthey get a year old. 18months is what I believe as the "safe" breeding age but it depends on their size. If they are 1 year old when they breed and they are the right size i believe its fine but 6 months is a bit too young and they are very unlikely to reach that size in that time even if fed every day.
