Sliding Glass Door Locks

Hi there,

I was wondering if someone could show me how to make a simple locking mechanism (even the correct bending design for a wire lock) for the glass doors on my new enclosures.

Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated, please keep in mind I am working on a rather meager budget

Many Thanks
Whisper

half a wooden peg wedged inbetween the glass works pretty well. (not child-proof though)

I had a look the other day and they are $8.49 and the guy asked me if I keep snakes. He reckons they are the only people who buy them.

Yeah man they pretty cheap. If you had to make one out of coathanger bend it into a s shape, but keep one end longer than the inside end. I still wouldn,t guarentee it against children though

I'd definitely go get the ones from bunnings, instead of building your own!
