Slitherin Snake Racks

I know a lot of keepers/breeders are using the hatchy racks but I want to know if anyone here is using the large python tubs, I think the dimensions of each tub are around 100cm x 76cm x 24cm (could be slightly wrong)

If anyone uses these for larger adult, terrestrial pythons like womas how do you find them and how do the animals find them?

Thanks

I've recently purchased a Python Rack from Slitherin, after having had some of the smaller racks for a few months. I've only been using the Python Rack for a couple of weeks, but it seems to be working as well as the smaller racks, which is very well. The size of the rack tubs is great and its seems to be easily big enough for the large womas and young BHPS that I've currently got in there. Wjil;st its a large rack system, I essentially have six cages in the space I'd normally have three or four. The tubs are also extremely easy to clean, as the plastic seems very inert and the tubs are so handlable in comparison to a traditional cage. I think I'll be getting more of the Python Racks!

Slitherin will have a big presence at the VHS Expo on Saturday. (They are one of the main sponsors of this momentous event.)

Anyone interested in their racking systems would do well to come along and check out their display.

I hear that they'll be unveiling some newly designed arboreal racks, which could be very handy for Morelia. I'm keen to have a look at the Expo!

a question about the racks, is it just to hold the animals in tubs, can you see the animals? like, is there a rack system that you can have a whole bunch of animals on display? or is it more-so set up for breeders/sellers and the like? not sure

thanks

I can confidently say the Slitherin racks are an absolute pleasures to use. The larger racks provide an excellent thermal gradient and as mentioned they are very easy to clean!
I keep a lot of animals in them and couldn't be happier. They are not for display purposes, but they are an excellent way to house higher numbers of herps in relative small spaces. The larger racks are also just shy of 3 foot, so the snakes hav pleanty of room. Womas, young BHPs, Coastals etc.

I think they sound really effective. Some people are against the large python racks as permanent enclosures because of their size. The thing is they are not as wide (by 20cm) as a typical 120x60 but a lot deeper so there is actually more ground area in the tubs. Can anyone comment on this and if they think the length not being as long affects the pythons health???

This is what some people say and I don't agree or disagree just want some more, diffrent opinions??

Thanks
