Pits are like enclosures - many and varied. Can be made out of a wide range it materials, timber, corrigated iron, old pools etc. Most pits I've seen try and simulate the natural environment, they're mainly used for species endemic to the region as the animal is exposed to the elements.

the one on the white container looks like its standing up quite high with its head in the air! a dragon perhaps? too small for me to make out completely....

Must be an optical illusion, there shouldn't be any dragons in there, not unless someone has snuck in and donated one and I haven't noticed it

And the winner is........

Speaking of donating............. my Tigers and Copperheads need a new home so if anyone knows of any pools going cheap or FREE, doesn't have to be water tight ( 'cause it won't be once I've finished with it) give me a yell

PS. I've just zooooomed in on the original photo and it's definately a Bluey not a Dragon. Bugger, thought I'd scored a new herp
