I just went on to AHC, RDU's herp classifieds page and found this notice:
"Snake Ranch is proud to announce the acquisition of the Australian Herpetological Classifieds. We tend to keep the classifieds running as normal, with one small change - over the next week, all user-submitted adverts will be deleted and replaced with ads for Snake Ranch animals."
Does that mean that the general public will no longer be able to post ads on this site? I went into their press release and thats what it looks like to me. To say I'm dissappointed would be a massive understatement, other than the classifieds here on APS I've bought the majority of my animals from sellers on that site and have sold things myself. It seems very poor for Stewart Macdonald to sell out like that, "Snake Ranch gets an established, effective advertising vehicle, and I get a truck load of cash plus a couple of rough-scaled pythons." considering the number of herpers that use that site to sell and buy herps. What are other peoples opinions on this? Am I way off the mark?
