Snake Relocation

Just got back from doing a snake relocation out the the TAFE over at Yarra Glen. It was seen in the hallway, but as always, after saying they'll keep an eye on it they didn't so I had to go around all the classrooms and storerooms in the building (I found it a bit ironic I was trying to catch a snake in the Animal Biology building). Finally in the boiler room at the end of the corridor, tucked up in the far corner was a little Tiger, about a foot long. Anyway, I drove out of the TAFE's driveway and right across the road was a nice bush area. At the bottom of a big ***** enbankment, and I mean big with a capital B, was a lovely clear flowing creek. After a rather eventfull decent I released this litte fella into long grass next to the creek. I was just about to start the climb back up and there on a large rock was another big fat Tiger, this time about 4 1/2 to 5 feet long, all flattened out getting himself some rays. And wouldn't you know it - NO BLOODY CAMERA. Unbelievable, first wild herp (excluding the relocations) I've seen this season and I don't have my camera with me. Believe me, not a happy camper
