Snakes NT Sale

So did anyone buy any critters from the snakes NT sale? If so, did you find them good to deal with? what are the animals you purchased like? healthy etc? Just curious to know as I have never dealt with them.
I would have loved to buy some of the Varanus Panoptes they had for sale but unfortunately I couldn't afford it! Oh well, some other time.

RE: Snakes NT Sale

The prices look pretty good for some hard to get animals.
I'm a bit concerned by the Curl snake (Suta suta) which they state "Not an aggressive snake, they are harmless to humans". This is a potentially dangerous snake, that have knocked people out and may cause serious permanent kidney damage. I hope kids don't buy any thinking that a bite won't hurt :S

Suta Suta are Class2 Category 2 in NSW. Beginners can not buy them.

RE: Snakes NT Sale

Suta Suta are a basic species in SA. Of course, if someone had a bad reaction to a bite, that might change very quickly.
