Hey all,
As some of you know i have been after a female MD for a fair while now and have had no luck. Well i found a pair for sale but the owner would not seperate. Anyway the pair did not sell for 2 or so months so the seller said that they would sell the female to me seperately which i was stoked about. The seller had some interest in the male but a sale never went through. After i was told that i could have the female the seller then went back on that and said i have someone interested in the pair. Meanwhile i had already filled out the import/export permit to send it away the next day. I reckon all up i waited 3 months for this female and the seller went back on thier word. I even said at one stage i would take the pair if thats what i had to do to get the female and thats when the seller said no you can have the female. I am so furious as i have been looking around for ages and ages for a girl for my boy. Just thought i would have a winge about it on here. You read about tyre kickers when they are buying reptiles but a tyre kicker when they are selling the reptiles. Hmmmm. Thanks for reading.

I try to remember a deals not done to you have the item in your hands and all paid for.
Tooooo many times people change their mind for alllll sorts of reasons.
I try to remember that when Im getting excited about a sale or buy, as sooo many fall flat.
Every expectation can and at some stage usually will cause disapointment.

Thanks all. Just annoys the hell out of me. I got out of fish for the same reason and looks like there are idiots everywhere.

Why don't you try Southern Cross reptiles. They might be a little dearer than you want to spend but how long do you want to wait? They are $220 & taking orders now & have advertised that they will sell them singly.

Every expectation can and at some stage usually will cause disapointment. | Thats all well and good but import/export permits need to be sorted out well in advance of hte item changing hands. I was chasing a stimmie a while ago, after specifying exactly the one I wanted from photos and all but sorting out the import permit I called the seller to find out that she had sold all the ones I was interested in (there was a fair colour variation in the clutch).
If you are willing to sell interstate then you have to be prepared for a bit more work on each sale. It's no good stringing an interstate buyer along only to take the easy local sale.
If you don't want to sell interstate, have the guts to say so rather then treating interstate buyers as second class customers!!
