they do, i didn't fit them to the second enclosure, just to see how they snakes reacted to them, so far so good, these are rated to over 100deg for mircrwaves so the 40 watt bulbs won't melt them........ i've been using these cages for a few months now without any troubles.........

Love the idea ponybug- where did you get the frame work from? Bunnings and then cut the lengths you needed?

Also is it just a thin sheet a melamine for the walls?

Glass set you back much?

hi twiggz, the frame work is call QU-block and you get it from your local aluminium supplers, you also buy the joiners also from them, comes in 6.5mtr lenghts, and at a good price, the walls are core-flute, which is what sign writers use for the advertizing signs like you see everywhere on house's 4 sale, it's very light, and so easy to clean,
no glass, i used perspex, cheaper and can be drilled and screwed onto the aluminum,

Just out of curiosity, how much did the materials for the first 4-bank cost all up?

They look great . Any reason for long-life light bulbs in some & regular bulbs in others ?
