something weird?

hey guys, i just fed my snake, the mouse had moved down the body however right after the snakes head near the neck region the snakes body has stretched it just just flaps

no idea what happens next?

does it go back to normal?

any help is much appreciated

snakes have 4 different seperate bones in their jaw, so that they can move each side independently.
This allows them to eat such large meals, aswell as other modifications aswell.
They should go back to normal, usually with a massive yawn that looks really cool.

They always look a bit thicker when they have eaten with the stretching but it goes back

This is most often seen when they are fed a second meal about 5 minutes after the other. Being stretched a second time tends to make the neck skin very loose and flabby looking. Whether this happens with one meal or two, it's no need for concern. The skin will tighten back up.
