I have recieved several emails containing this pic.
1. Stated it was in New Zealand & it had been eating the sheep.
2. Stated it was in Australia feeding on farmers cattle.
And the rest I didn't bother reading I just deleted them because I was sick of seeing it lol.
I think there were also a few posts on here previously about these pics & somebody posted a link to snopes? where it gave a run down of the rumours floating around.
EDIT: Found the link http://www.snopes.com/photos/animals/fencesnake.asp

HA I like that, electric snake, saw it first here on APS, btw i saw a chamelion snake was discovered in borneo. Frogs are the identikit for environmental change, maybe the snakes will just adapt and carry on
He has a pretty thick middle, maybe he ate something of the farmers

I highly doubt it striked at the fence, more like its mouth was opened for the photo

I doubt it would have had the capability of striking the fence unless it wasn't very high voltage and just couldn't get out due to it being stuck. If it was a big voltage, it would have been jerked around to much to strike I think.
