Would they really eat them ?
and is it only them you would have to worry about or would something like a large coastal also enjoy a murray snack!

i think if they were all reletivaly the same size i dont think there would be a problem, even when the scrubs get bigger i dont think there would be a problem either as at ballarat wildlife park they have a big scrub and a water python together as i recall. Just the usual stuff dont feed together which im sure you wouldn't hope it helps.

Even two coastal you cold not trust together.
Has happened to a couple of members here, after keeping them together, even after years.
Doesn’t mean it's defiantly going to happen, as others have and are prob. still doing it with no problem so far.

But not worth taking the risk, specially mixing species all together, it's a def. no no IMO anyway.

I would only keep Diamonds or any of the children types together.

There's no difference in keeping a couple of coastals together than there is keeping diamonds together.I sold a pair of diamonds to a friend who housed them together and the female who is bigger bit him out of the blue and the male needed to be stitched...I have seen big scrubbies kept together for years with no hassles...

I prefer to keep everything seperate for feeding.........

I had two of my Diamonds having a go at each other as well, but it was my fault, as I was in a hurry and tried to feed them in the same enclosure, which I haven’t done before and will never do again.

I assume the males would combat each other at breeding season

Well, actually they don’t, they are real gentleman and will just wait their turn.
That is in the wild anyway. Have seen some pictures of that in books.
I'm talking Diamonds here only.

I personally wouldn't risk keeping even same species together year round, have heard some nasty stories and just don't think it is worth the risk. If you are going to do it though I would be making sure they are all of roughly equal size and take all the usual precautions.
