it helps with the temperature variant.
I have a large habitat...6ft long, 3ft high, 2ft deep
would a flood suit this Habitat better?...
is the heat distributed different.... ?
i currently use a 150W spot.....will a 150w flood give me the same heat but larger area?
thanks for any help

flood lights give more heat !
the heat is wider distributed...so for a habitat that is big..it is better....thankyou to all!..lol

the habitat has the juvies in it...yes their big enough but im only doing a 6-8wk brumation with them
so they can wait...
my spot lasted 11mnths..a 150 w exo terra light...not bad eh!...
but was concerned that the flood may give out too much heat in temp....
so bought one anyway....works great...i have multiple basking spots...
& my varient is still the same at the cool end!
ended up answering my own question!...lol
