sorry to post so many but my oher posts geta few replies and then go dry.
Anyway im looking to get a spotted python hatchling and was advised to put it in a click clack. After looking around i found a 30cm x 21cmm and 9.5cm high. Would this be ok for a spotted hatchling and when and what size should i upgrade to? Also how do i regulate the temperaturewith a heat mat on the cool and hot end of the click clack?I live in sa will that effect the temperature? If so how do i counteract this? |

Get a thermometer or a dual probe on and have the probes inside the click clack 1 on the cool end and 1 on the hot end. The heat matt that I have regulates it's self. Gets to 32ºc then stops and once it drops below 32ºc it'll warm back up.

These pictures have a 10 month old Bredli in them
10L Click Clack
Air Holes going 3/4 of the way of the click clack on both sides (Soldering Iron used for air holes)
Heat Matt under 1/4 of the click clack
I have bulldog office clips, 1 on each side of the click clack just to make sure she can't push it open.
Here are the pictures:
Also, to help control the temperatures because of where you live, put the click clack in coolest part of your house, or in a room that is well ventilated.

The Herp Shop is great value for money and is run by one of the greatest herpers this country has ever seen. Brian Barnett is one of the very few who have 'stayed true to the hobby' whilst many others have been blinded by the $$$$$.

A click clack that size that mine is in, Will last your spotted for upto a year or even longer depending how often you feed it and how fast it grows, then you could upgrade to a bigger click clack, 20L the one in the pictures is only a 10L.

Your Spotted Python can stay in a 'click clack' for quite some time.... | | | |
