When you get the click-clack , be sure to get one that doesn't have wheels & plastic moulding/molding ? on the bottom.
The bottom should be flat so that it'll sit properly on the heat mat.

The ambient temp of the room, plus adequate ventillation in the tub will ensure the temp stays fairly cool in the cool end - 24-26 degrees is good for the cool side, 30-32 for the warm side.

I can not find any heat mats that turn off at 32C but if that is the case how does the heat mat know how hot it is in the enclosure? and is that 32C combined with the room temp?

just get a small heat mat about 7 watt you wont need a themostat on that ,just put your tub about 3 inches over the mat

I'm not sure about the heat pads that sit at 32, you'll need to send chris-cool a PM as he has one; i've never seen them before. They basically have a built in thermostat. If it sits at 32 degrees, the temperature directly above it (which is where one third of the tub will be sitting) will be very close to 32 degrees. The rest of the enclosure will be cooler due to the ambient temps of the room. Using a dual probe thermometer (one probe on the warm side, one on the cool side) will help you monitor the actual temps in the tub to ensure you're doing everything right.

Gets to 32ºc then stops and once it drops below 32ºc it'll warm back up. |
