stephens banded

there are 5 of these for sale on australian reptiles online and supposedly feeding on pinkie mice for $400 ea.

Are they hatchlings and do you need a specific permit to have them. Like Class 2 or more?

theyre venomous em - class 2 cat 1 in nsw

yeah i was surprised to see them for sale but what more surprised me was that they are being fed on dead pinky's

They will kill you easily Em. They are a very dangerous snake, and I for one have found them pretty difficult to handle

I have been bitten by Boiga irregularis and now that ALL Australian colubrids are considered venomous I guess I have been bitten a few times by venomous species . I know plenty of people who have been bitten by elapids and it sounds like a horrible thing to go through.
