hi everyone im just wondering if anyone can tell me if i should have the heat light on in my stimson,s cage at night or have it so it goe,s off at night? any help would be very greatful. oh nad hey it,s me bday today anyone want to shout me a beer?
most people have them attached to thermostats so they turn on/off when they need to.
ino some people turn the lights off completly at night i personaly dont

I personally use a ceramic heater so having on at night doesnt disrupt the day/night cycle. I also have it conected to a thermostata although it rarely is off. Are u using a light emiting heating globe? How cold does it get in ur area?
your heating should be set on a timer for a 12 hour cycle, i have 2 stimies that i keep on heat all the time but light should be kept stictly to a 12 hour cycle so that their day night cyle isnt interfiered with.
thanks everyone for ya help i have it set on a thermostat already but im going to put in a timer so i can set when i want it to pop on and of in the night.
