Stimsons Help

I have two Stimson's pythons, Male & Female. I have had the Male for almost 2 1/2 years and the Female for 1 year. They are housed seperately but in the same room, and have been in the same enclosures, with the same temperatures for the whole time I have had them. Both have been great feeders, having never refused food until recently.

In the past month both have refused food. When I offer food they look at it and then go straight past it and head out the lid of the enclosure. They both appear to be in very good condition and are very active, especially the male who is genarally out roaming his tank, as if he is looking for food.

As there have been no changes in their enclosures or temps, I am not sure why both have gone off their food. Could it be because it is heading into Winter as some snakes will stop feeding at this time, although this does seem a bit early and they have not done it previously. I was hoping to breed them this year, but am not sure now.

Any ideas or advice would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Is this for 1 month solid or both over a period of 1 month?
When was the last time they shed? All mine have / are going through sloughing stages now.

No sign of mites.

Male I have had since a hatcling so about 2 years and 4 months. Not sure with the Female but is older than the male by at least 1-2 years.

The Female has been over a month and has shed during this time. The Male did not feed about four weeks ago, and then shed about about a week after that, fed after it shed and has refused food again over the past two weeks.

Does your thermometer have a memory. Maybe it is getting cooler than that. It does sound like normal behavior. Our seasons have been that screwed up of late, anything is possible.
