Im looking for a stimsons python to mate with my spotted female, she is only ~15 months old so preferably a stimsons male of roughly same age.. My trade in return is either a hatchling male childrens python (little nippy, Excelent eater) or a 6 month old male spotted python (excelent handler, good eater)...
I can send pictures if you are interested, I am on the sunshine coast and am willing to pick up in the local area / Brisbane airport, My number is 0408780017 for any information or just PM me im usually on everyday...

why dont you just wait a year and breed the male and female spotted? why do you want to create more hybrids trust me you will sell the pure spotteds faster and get more for them.
im not having a shot just dont understand why you would get rid of a male spotted for a male stimsoni to breed with a female spotted.

| Hmmmm I also wonder about that. Young male maculosa are thick on the ground (compared to yearling females), you should be able to pick up a 2 year old this year.
About the hybridising, the stimsoni/clidreni/maculosa mish mash are an ugly type of snake ( in my opinion). Pure macs are much better looking, and you will sell them quicker and get better money for them , that way you're even closer to that pair of blackheadeds/ womas/ jungles/ etc etc etc.

You'll find they won't be worth much...also they may look pretty as hatchlings, but they tend to grow into ugly snakes as Nephrurus said, they are pretty easy to spot as hybrids as well. You've got two pure snakes there, if you give them a go you'll be surprised with the diversity in pattern of the hatchlings, it's exciting!
