Tah Tah Lizard

I was visiting Northern Territory recently and saw these lizards which the locals called "Tah Tah" lizards. They look like small dragons and they keep lifting their front hands and waving them as if waving goodbye.

Does anybody know what the proper name is for these lizards and are they able to be kept and are they available for purchase?

Beardies head bob as a sign of dominance and arm wave for submission.

I've seen EWD do the same too.

That looks like the right one. Thanks Recharge. Does anyone know anything about keeping them in captivity?

They are called Ta Ta lizards because of the habit they have waving their arms as if to say goodbye (ta ta). And yes they are Gilberts... Lophognathus gilberti.

They are cute little critters. My backyard is full of them.
