Taronga Pics

Went to Taronga on Saturday to see the new Great Southern Oceans (GSO) display. But couldn’t help visiting the Reptile House too. So here are some pics.

I’ll get the GSO out of the way first –

Fiordland Crested Penguin

New underwater viewing for the Leopard Seal.

Rodent’s-eye view of a Rhinoceros Viper

Coastal Taipan coming up to a shed

Fierce Snake

RBBS

Alligator

Desert Death Adder

Komodo Dragon

I love the Komodo Dragon.

Is it just me or does the Leopard Seal look quite skinny?

It's a young male. Might look that way because of the way it was twisting in the water. Looked very healthy.

He banged his face on the glass trying to bite her head. They've since put up guard rails to stop people getting that close.
