hey guys
Has anyone actually seen were a snakes tongue goes when a snake is eating its dinner?
i think that it is kind of curious the way they manage to hide their tongue from you when they are eating, we fed our snakes tonight and just started wondering about it .

it goes into the hole at the bottom of their mouths. im not sure what its called exactly though.

The tongue goes into a hole/tube in the bottom of their mouth as thesilverbeast said.

to add to what i said...
if you watch them eat... when they have the rodent far enough down that the hole is cleared but the mouth is still open they stick out their tongue and you see it come out of that hole. it looks really cool too.
