If there is twenty up feeding already and are feeding like just do the sums on when the female first became pregnant, are they last years hatchys or do they breed them super early with short pregnancy etc etc. Times like this i would like to read greg maxwells chondro book even if i am too poor to own one,he has done well pails in breeding its good for all in the long run.

Maxwell's book is currently out of print though there has been some discussion about a replacment book in preparation. It is expected to provide a lot more detail.

I started taking it off the Herp Shop site last week. It is a pity because it is a great herp book even if you have minimal interest in GTP's

I think you will find that gestation times, breeding schedules, neonate husbandry etc. is similar to other species though they obviously a little more tricky than your average Morelia.

I'm sure he has all those security aspects covered and will undoubtably be selling them the conventional way...... out the back of a dimly lit Maccas carpark!

it would be quite a good investment if you could afford 2 or 3...

imagine succesfully breeding them... 20 hatchy's at 10k each.... i think thats $200,000... minus your $30,000.... Thats $170,000 Proffit...

I SAID $170 THOUSAND DOLLARS...

Heh, if I was going to buy any I'd want to buy all of them so I could have a hand in dictating the market value....and just sell the hatchies to friends so we could be in on it together

I think the drama and stress involved of obtaining and keeping one is just not worth it really. Who wants to own a snake that they cant flaunt/show off and run the risk of some retard breaking in and stealing it (and quite possibly other stuff in your house too!). You'd hafta fork out heaps to turn your house into a mini-Fort Knox and practically live like a hermit... as I said, just dip a regular carpet snakey in some emerald green body-paint. Viola! Instant GTP!

Or you could just live on a locked down secure establishment like i do??? And to make it even better, i dont pay any extra for the tight security either!!! hehehehe
