Pretty sure he was saying "TURN THE FLIPPING LIGHT OUT WOMAN!!" or similar in this photo...
And "GET THAT CAMERA OUT OF MY FACE!" in this photo...
If humans were that cute when they got angry the world would be a better place, hehehe!! |

They haven't ever done that when I'm just going about my nightly feed (they get fed in the daytime, so I don't bother them at night), but they hate J-cloths!! I give their enclosure a wipe down every other day when they are fed, and they see the bright blue J-cloth and go into 'intruder alert - must attack!' mode, whereas if I put my hand in without the J-cloth they pretty much ignore me unless I get close to them. Full of character these little critters. Unfortunately I think I have 3 males and 1 female, if so, two of the males will have to be sold, I don't want them fighting as adults and I don't have room for more than 1 enclosure for them. Very sad as I love all four of them to bits. |

I have two males together who are fine. Add a third and i have the odd blew. I keep them separate to the females though. If i have one male in with the girls then my oldest girl asserts her dominance by scaring away the other girls and getting rough with the male. It's just her personality i suppose. I have 7 of them and bred 2 for the first time this year. I can't bear to sell any of them so i am just making room for them. I adore them too much.

I haven't noticed any fighting yet between them, but they are still young, only about 6 months. What size enclosure do you keep yours in? |

I can pick em up and take em outside for a little sun and they love climbing the mesh. I'm not 100% sure of dimensions but its the largest one you can buy from the Herp Trader. They're great.

I have bought a fogger for the angles to use in summer to help increase humidity for them as the air conditioner does take the humidity out of the air. However, I also keep shingles in the same room and I don't want to increase humidity in the whole room, just the Angle's enclosure. This being the case I have been thinking that I really should keep them in a melamine enclosure that doesn't have too much ventilation so the humidity in the enclosure doesn't escape, and have the shinglebacks in one of the flexarium enclosures (they come in a 6ft by 2.5ft by 2.5ft.) to stop a build up of humidity in their enclosure.
