Turtle Dinner

Hi all, I was having a read on the internet and noticed a recipe for turtle dinner that contained cod liver oil as well calcium supplement and ground up cuttlebone. I know that you cannot trust everything you read(especially on the net) so I wanted to know if anyone does the same. It makes sense that cod liver oil would benefit them and I guess cuttlebone but just wanted some second opinions, thanks

i do sometimes....

but i have the advantage of being able to do it at work, for free, with scraps

veg scaps + porterhouse trimmings (fat removed) and whatever else is around that day make for a yummy turtle snack (i put the calcium in it too)

Frozen white bait is still very high in salt and should be soaked first
I just feed meal worms as a treat and only the soft white ones or the pupae. I breed them up because I also use them for my lizards.
