turtle dock

i have a turtle dock for my short neck turlte but he never uses it. some people i know have that their turtle doesent use it either and they had to submerge it it water before the turtle used it should i submerge it or should i get somthing else for him to get on to

are you sure he isnt using it. my saw-shelled turtles use theres all the time, buy my big murray turtle will only use it if we arnt there, and at night time. if we happen to catch him on it he quickly dives into the water. check during the night. he should use it at some point.

i dont know if he goes on it night ive only seen him use the bit that is supose to be in the water

sometimes my little saw-shells will only use the bit thats in the water, they will have there front feet on it and just sorta float .

thats what my short neck does but he still only goes up on it when he is trying to bite my finger

they would b just wen you arnt there also small turts sometimes are reluctant to come out
