tv cabinet for enclosure

i picked up a tv cabinet tonight for 100 bucks, its dimensions are overall 1950 wide x 1305 high x 570 deep, it has 3 compartments which i plan to convert to habs,

the middle comp is 770 high x 800 wide x 520 deep
the right and left side are 1155 high x 490 wide x 520 deep

firstly what kind of snakes could i keep in this enclosure and should i run it as a 3 in one or just use the middle???

i am new to snakes and this will be my first snakes home, i have been toying with a coastal or a md but if any nice jungles at the right price pop up then i might go them, i do want to have big snakes tho hence the coastal. Would this enclousure be good enough for a decent coastal???

my wife thinks i should get diamonds she thinks they are prettier i will try to attach some photos of the cab

imo id hollow out the middle and not have the 2 side compartments. just have 1 big enclosure and house watever u like. altho dnt foret with a diamond im pretty sure ull need UVA/UVB aswell as heat

Are you still going to use it as a TV cabinet? It looks great. I would put holes through the walls that ca be plugged up so you have the option to use it as one big enc, or just the middle section. How do you plan to glass up the front of the middle? Just glass in track?

Hey Doc.
Nice cabinet, should come up nice. I made my enclosure from an old TV cabinet and me and my snake like it. Just make sure you think before you act as I changed my plans a few times along the way. Mine wasn't as big but same design ( mine is less one of the bits on the side ). That place at the top where the video/DVD would of been would be great to place all the wiring and house the lights for the middle part. Glassing up the front is easy if all your going to do is Glass and track. I made mine one big enclosure, gives my snake lots of room and place's to hide ( and a better temperature range ). As for the snake to put in it I am not one to give advice as I am also new to this. Can't wait to see the finished product.

It should turn out to be a very nice enclosure. You could easily house a full grown coastal I think in the middle section and in the sides two palmeston jungles would go nicely good luck with it.

i was thinking of making a dor with glass inside still looking at how the best way to do it will be, and yeah my idea was to use the top compartment to house wiring plugs etc and then have a cover over that section it should come up nice just have to work out the middle section.
