Update on enclosure

Well its been a long time since i showed some pictures of my outdoor enclosure. It has changed so much and still is changing after 2 or 3 years. At first it was a patch of dirt and slowly got better. I cant grow much plants because it so hot here and they die quickly. It house 12 shinglebacks.

Have you thought about trying some drought resistant native clumping grasses? They wouldn't need much water and don't mind the heat either, and i reckon they'd suit the shingles real well too.

Wish i had space for an outdoor enclosure, it looks good, and a good size too. Do you have something over the top so birds etc dont get in?

I will see at the plant place if they have any hardy plants. Last time i asked they gave me this "hardy" plant which died in about a week. The only birds that go in are crested pigeons and sparrows. Ive never had any problems with birds attacking.
