What are you going to seal it with??? A polyglaze of some sort?? have you siliconed up the joints inside?

it looks good.. i do like the bamboo! but it will be hard to clean crap of! alot of my snake smear it 6inches up the wall

Sealant goes on in the morning, will take the bamboo out for that , it's got water based enamel on it so it will be ok

nice one,can't wait to see the finished product. i've seen one viv with a bamboo backdrop, i thought it looked awesome. it will look great lit from the side. maybe give your basking lamp an angle and rake the beam along it. the texture will be great. that is if you are putting beardies in it. anyway i thinks its looking hot.
