g'day,
has anyone brought a URS vivarium with dome? did it come with a mesh cover for the dome?
i just brought one from a pet store and they told me it didn't come with a mesh cover?
now i have an enclosure with a big hole. Ive looked on the URS site and couldn't find one? Can anyone help me out or point me in the right direction? If your out there Tim, it would be great to hear from you.

The mesh should come with or without the dome.

well i thought it was a bit suss, cause once i was told the mesh cover for the dome didn't come supplied. I was then trying to be sold a whole light fitting and was told that they may be able order one in for me. I think they may have been trying to suck more money out of me.

Yeah Whitey,i think they are just trying to suck more money out of you mate,they do come with mesh cover,i have a few of them & they were all in them & ready to go when purchased.The fitting comes with them to it is just & screw in downlight.You shouldn't have to pay any extra mate.Hope this helps.

You could always ask Strictly Reptile. They wholesale to petshops, the URS vivariums with and without the domes. Perhaps the ones with the domes are intended for those wanting to use lights and you should have gone with one without the dome. I don't know, I am only guessing but give them a call they will soon tell you how they distribute their products and be able to advise you accordingly. I didn't see anything on their website about a mesh cover but call them before you go back to the pet store. http://www.strictlyreptiles.com.au here's the link and look under cages and plastic vivariums.
Just out of curiosity, can I ask how much you paid for it?

Strictly Reptiles is purely a retail site.
