Veggies no go

My Bearded dragon WILL NOT eat veggies, fruit, crickets or roaches. Only super worms...I have tried absolutely everything including the mealworms under the veggies ...He eventaully figures it out and doesnt eat unless it is plain old superworms....I am getting very worried ( and SUPER p*ssed off) about his health as there is no nutrition in superworms. What can I do or what can I feed him?

How old is your bearded dragon.
We have them feeding on veges with 2 weeks after they are born.
So with a bit more info i might be able to help you out.

Have you been feeding him alot of mealworms?
Stop giving him mealworms and let live crickets or roaches run around the cage, if he's heathly then he'll eat them when gets hungry.

This happened to a young guy i sold some baby beardies to last year, he only fed them mealworms for about 2 months and after that, that is all they would eat.
I told him to stop feeding mealworms and use live crickets and they started feeding on them within a week.

What sort of bearded dragon is it?
Don't feed it for a few days and then try woodies or crickets. Try the same method and then feed it veggies (the most colour full ones like yellow, orange and green)

Have you tried bok-choi? I've had some success with it. Beardies seem to like pungent veggies so choi works out well. Some fresh herbs can be used too like parsley. Once they get used to eating one veggie it's normally pretty easy to get them onto other fruits and veggies.

Pogona barbata or coastal bearded dragon, when I looked after these dragons we only fed them insects, they never ate fruit or veg, unlike the central bearded dragon (pogona vitticeps) who loves vegies and fruit. I would say get him or her to feed on as many diffrent types of insects.
Good ones to try are obviously crickets etc. but you also have to try beetles etc. too many soft food might result in gum disease and therefore might result in death.

a bearded dragon that doesnt eat crickets or roaches thats unheard of, I cannte exsplain why because dragons are stimulated into feed by movement, take away the the superworms for awill

I've always just chopped it up and put in the enclosure. It took a couple of tries but it worked for me. Best of Luck.
