Having read Shane's fantastic post on snake health checks I decide that I should finally take my Bredli python to the vet to get it sexed and have a general checkup.
The vet said that the snake was in excellent condition (Yeah). He also asked the standard question such as when it last eat and when it last shed, which due to poor record keeping (big trap for new players) by me I could not give precise answers.
The biggest suprise was that my snake which I always thought of as female (don't know why) was actually male.
Regards David
PS My snake was a perfect gentleman at the vets, no biting, spiting or defecating even when he was probing.
PPS For any one in the Frankston area looking for a Herp Vet then try Karingal Veterinary Hospital
