Vic import permit. How long does it take??

Hey all.

Faxed in the form for a import permit to DSE late last night and was
wondering how long it will take to be processed? Has anyone gone through this process
and could tell me how long it took to come through? It says to up to 5 days but
i was hoping for it alot sooner... They dont even have a direct number you can call them on
to find out if the even received it...

They will generally fax the approval back to you the next day, so it should be to you today. They will also mail a copy to you.

The turnaround is quick. I have faxed the details at 8am and had the permit faxed back the same day, but it is more likely the next day.

if i fax mine of by 8am i all ways get it back by 3pm that day,some time quicker.

Yes indeed, the DSE have really got their act together. If you have a return fax it usually comes back within a couple of hours, if not it is up to australia post.

Faxed it in 8pm Tues night and received it before lunch Wed!

My new little male Bredli arrived from Qld 4pm Wed arvo.

Could`nt have planned it better...

mine come in the post,and they come the next working day,so yep real fast,depends when u fax them though,if late in the day,expect 2 working days,i bet u have yours already
