This is actually the first time I've had a visit. Being a private keeper and a lic. snake catcher, I thought I would have had more but so far, today was the first.

I've never been checked and I've probably had my licence for about 7 years now.

It was actually quite painless, they were in and out in 10 minutes

no spike you dont have to let them in but if you dont have any thing to hide it would be easyer just to get it over and dun with but if you have got some thing to hide tell them to nick off.

But like Krusty said, there is not much to it as long as everything is right with your books and your reptiles.
