just wondering if my 2 broad-shelled turtles babies can have a fish tank filled to the normal depth or do they have to be in shallow water?

Best to keep it fairly shallow, 10cm would be a nice depth.

the need to have lots of places to rest (both submerged, dry and inbetween) because they get tired easily...so having a more shallow tank is simply easier.
